1. Introduction

Welcome to Chișinău Business School (CBS). We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Law no. 195/2024 on the Protection of Personal Data in the Republic of Moldova and the GDPR.

2. Data Controller & Contact

Chisinau Business School is the Data Controller.

3. Data We Collect & How We Use It

Identification & Contact: Admissions, newsletters, and updates - Webflow, MailerLite

Professional & Academic: Evaluation of candidacy - Google Workspace

Financial Data: Tuition processing (We do not store card info) - Stripe / Maib

Marketing & Analytics: Tracking ad performance - Meta Pixel, LinkedIn, GA4

4. Email Communications (MailerLite)

We use MailerLite to manage our email marketing subscriber list and to send newsletters or program updates.

  • Tracking: MailerLite uses "web beacons" to tell us if you opened an email or clicked a link. We use this to improve our communication.

Opt-out: You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link in the footer of any email we send.

5. International Data Transfers

We use international service providers to ensure the best educational experience:

  • EEA-Based: MailerLite (Lithuania) – Data remains under EU protection.

US-Based: Google Workspace, Webflow, Stripe – Transfers are secured via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure a level of protection equivalent to Law 195/2024.

6. Data Retention
  • Admissions Data: 12 months for rejected candidates; duration of studies + 5 years for enrolled students.

Marketing Data: Stored in MailerLite until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe).

7. Your Rights

Under Law 195/2024, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your data, as well as the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, please contact our DPO, Eugen Chistol.
